Tassajara Road Widening Project

This project provides for design and construction of street improvements on Tassajara Road, between North Dublin Ranch Drive and Quarry Lane School. The project will widen Tassajara Road to a four-lane arterial standard, with bike lanes, sidewalks, landscaped median, stormwater treatment areas, and other associated street improvements. Existing concrete curb ramps will be removed and replaced with new ones that meet current building codes. In addition, upgrades to the traffic signal system will be installed at the signalized intersections: Tassajara Road and North Dublin Ranch Road, and Tassajara Road and Quarry Lane School.
As part of the Tassajara Road Widening project, the City will make improvements to the existing roadway that include: adjusting the longitudinal roadway profile, grinding the existing roadway, and overlay with hot mix asphalt. The end result will be a better driving experience for the traveling public.
Our current anticipated schedule is as follows:
- Estimated Project Design Completion: end of 2025
- Estimated Right of Way Acquisition: completed
- Estimated Utility Relocation Completion: end of 2025
- Estimated Start of Construction: Summer 2026
- Estimated Project Completion: end of 2027
Estimated Construction Cost: $12 million.
