Community Development Director Responsibilities
The Community Development Director has the duties identified in Section 8.128.030 of the Dublin Municipal Code (DMC), which include approval authority over those matters specifically provided by Title 8 (Zoning) of the DMC.
Community Development Director meetings are called as necessary. See Agendas and Staff Reports below for any upcoming meetings.
Meeting Procedure During Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak:
In keeping with the guidelines provided by the State of California and Alameda County Department of Public Health regarding gatherings and recommendations to follow social distancing procedures, the following practices will be implemented during upcoming Community Development Director meetings:
- The Dublin Community Development Director will hold online virtual meetings via Zoom Video Communications. At the start of the meeting, you will be able to join the webinar here (when available)
Members of the public who wish to address the Community Development Director will need to complete an online speaker slip, which will be available here (when available) . Speakers will be able to participate using a computer or smart phone. A telephonic option will also be available to those without access to a computer or smart phone during the meeting.
- Those who do not have access to the internet in order to fill out an online speaker slip should call the City of Dublin at 925-833-6610 prior to the meeting. A phone number will be provided to enable the speaker to call in to the meeting.
- The speaker will be announced in the meeting when it is their time to speak to the Community Development Director. The speaker will then have up to three minutes to provide comments.
