Commission Members

Commission Responsibilities

The Parks and Community Services Commission is an advisory body to the City Council and City Staff. This Commission is made up of five members of the community who serve four-year staggered terms and one student representative who serves a one-year term. This Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council with regard to City facilities, parks, and recreational activities and programs.  The Parks and Community Services Commission Bylaws and Rules of Procedure govern the meetings and activities of the Commission.
