Environmental & Sustainability Division

The City of Dublin is concerned about protecting the environment and safeguarding the public health to create a more sustainable environment for this and future generations.

The City develops, implements, and monitors programs to manage natural resources and hazardous materials; promotes conservation efforts; and administers and enforces many environmental laws.

The City of Dublin is developing a Building Electrification Plan to help meet the goals in Climate Action Plan 2030 and Beyond. Building electrification refers to the process of transitioning the energy systems in an existing building from fossil fuel based sources to electricity based systems. Please complete a 3-minute survey to help us understand your feelings about building electrification, what obstacles you would have to overcome to switch to electric appliances, and which systems you have considered replacing with electric alternatives. The survey can be accessed here.
