[ARCHIVED] Iron Horse Park and Open Space Master Plan Public Meeting

The City of Dublin (City) is considering the acquisition of a 12-acre parcel that begins at the San Ramon border and extends just south of Amador Valley Boulevard.

As part of the process for property acquisition the City is developing a master plan for the site for park and open space purposes. The City has hired the landscape architecture firm SWA Group to lead the community input process and for preparation of the master plan.

The first public meeting will be held on-site and SWA Group will lead a walking and listening program. The on-site meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 10:00 AM to approximately 12:00 PM. The walk will be just over one-half of a mile and will traverse both paved and non-paved surfaces so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The meeting will start at the information kiosk located on Amador Valley Boulevard.

This is the first of two public meetings scheduled and community input is encouraged. The second public meeting has not yet been scheduled.

If you have any questions related to this meeting and the master plan please contact Rosemary Alex, Parks and Facilities Development Coordinator at 925-556-4500.
