[ARCHIVED] Winning Photographs Selected in the 2023 "Nature in Our Backyard" Photography Contest

The City of Dublin recently held the 5th Annual "Nature in Our Backyard" Photography Contest as part of Dublin Pride Week activities.  The City received over 230 photographs of landscapes and wildlife taken in Dublin by 73 photographers in the past year.  A panel of judges selected the top ten photographs, which were then posted on the City's website for a community vote.  The top four vote-getters were chosen for awards.

Photographer Amit Srivastava was named the Grand Prize winner for the photograph, "Fawning Around."  First Place went to Chris Begin for the photograph, "Dublin Ranch Sunset."  The Second Place winner was Ben Radhakrishnan with a photo entitled, "Dublin Mini Alps."  Fourth Place went to Monique Rardin Richardson for her photograph, "The Ponderer."

Mike's Camera will provide gift certificates, as well as metal prints of their photographs, to the top four vote-getters.  They will also be recognized at a Dublin City Council meeting.  Framed photographs will be displayed in the lobby at Dublin Civic Center and on the City's website.
