[ARCHIVED] Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the City of Dublin on March 17th and 18th!

There will be plenty of "GOOD GREEN FUN" at the 29th Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration!

Start the celebration in style at the Green & White Gala hosted by the Dublin Sister City Association on Friday evening, March 16. The event begins at 6:00pm with an "Irish Happy Hour" followed by dinner and dancing to live music. For tickets or more information call (925) 829-4758.

Begin St. Patrick's Day morning with a fresh stack of green pancakes served up by the firefighters at Fire Station #16. All proceeds will benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation and the Local 55 Charity Fund. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.

Don't miss the 29th annual parade on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17th, hosted by the Dublin Lion's Club. Over 80 colorful floats, marching bands, equestrians and more will circle the center of town beginning at 9:30am sharp!

The St. Patrick's Day Festival will take place at the Dublin Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, March 17th & 18th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Three stages of Irish music and dance, plenty of great food featuring many Irish favorites, over 200 arts & crafts and commercial booths, an Irish Marketplace, Carnival Rides and an authentic "Irish Tea Cottage" will offer fun for all!

The annual Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk will take place on Sunday, March 18 at 8:30am. Register at www.active.com by March 13.
