[ARCHIVED] Limited Time Hiring Bonus Offered for New Employees at The Wave

The Dublin Wave is offering a limited time sign-on bonus for Lifeguard/Swim Instructor and Head Lifeguard applicants. New employees can earn a $500 bonus for working 30 hours/week, or $750 for working 40 hours/week. Applicants must attend required job training by June 14 in order to qualify.

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Under general supervision, the Lifeguard performs lifeguard duties in enforcing City public swimming pool rules and monitoring pool patron conduct; perform emergency rescue and lifesaving techniques. Also performs swim instructor duties in planning, coordinating and teaching swimming and water safety courses, enforcing City public swimming pool rules and monitoring pool patron conduct.

Lifeguard pay range: $17.00-$21.37 hourly
Must be 15 years of age or older to apply.

Head Lifeguard

Under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, Recreation Coordinator and/or Program Specialist, the Head Lifeguard assists in planning, organizing, and supervising aquatics programs related to the management and operation of a public swimming pool. 

Head Lifeguard pay range: $18.30-$25.68 hourly
Must be 17 years of age or older to apply.
