On Tuesday, August 6, the City of Dublin will join thousands of communities nationwide in celebration of National Night Out. Residents are encouraged to gather with neighbors to host family-friendly events to promote safety and unity in Dublin. Those who register their community events, such as potlucks, barbecues, or ice cream socials, can receive visits from Police, Fire, and City officials throughout the night.
The annual National Night Out campaign is designed to enhance police-community partnerships and strengthen neighborhoods by bringing together those who are committed to preserving the quality of life in Dublin. Groups that would like the opportunity to receive National Night Out visits from Dublin Police, Fire staff, and/or City officials should register their event online no later than Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Visits will take place between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on August 6.
