[ARCHIVED] Enjoy Springtime on the Farm at the City of Dublin's Annual Spring Fair!

There's much to see and do for visitors of all ages at the City of Dublin's annual Spring Fair on Saturday, May 5, 12:00-5:00 p.m., at Dublin Heritage Park and Museums (6600 Donlon Way). Admission is free, but there is a $5 charge for activity wristbands and a $2 fee for a visit to the Spring Tea Cottage.

Children can enjoy hands-on activities like milking Elsie the "cow," churning butter, making ice cream and cheese in the dairy pen, and planting vegetables in the farm yard.  Visitors can also take a tractor-drawn wagon ride through the park, enjoy a cup of tea in the Spring Tea Cottage, peruse the arts and crafts marketplace, or just sit a spell, listening to lively Bluegrass music by The Dim Lights.  A new exhibit, "Got Milk? Local Dairies in the Dublin Area," will also be featured in the historic Murray Schoolhouse, and the historic home of Dublin’s farm family, the Kolbs, will be available for touring.  For more information, please call (925) 556-4500.
