Celebrate springtime on the farm with the family at the annual Spring Fair, Saturday, May 6, 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., at Heritage Park & Museums, 6600 Donlon Way in Dublin. Children can enjoy hands-on activities, like milking Elsie the "cow," churning butter and making ice cream in the dairy pen, and planting vegetables in the farm yard. Take a tractor-drawn wagon ride through the park and listen to lively Bluegrass music. Play fun, old-fashioned games on the lawn. Enjoy a cup of tea in the Country Tea Cottage, and peruse arts and crafts vendors. Visit the History Detectives: A Noir Investigation into Dublin’s Past exhibit in the Murray Schoolhouse, and tour the home of Dublin's farm family, the Kolbs.
Admission is free. Activity wristbands are $5. Tea cottage is $2 per person.
