The After-School Recreation Program and the middle school After-School Leadership, Experience, and Development (LEAD) Program will operate at each elementary school site for the 2024-2025 school year. Register your child now for these 2024-25 programs.
The City of Dublin’s After-school Recreation programs promote positive youth development and supports the childcare needs of families in Dublin. After-school Recreation is for children in first to fifth grades and is offered at Amador, Cottonwood Creek, Dougherty, Dublin, Frederiksen, John Green, Kolb, and Murray elementary schools. The program provides students with both outdoor and indoor activities and games to keep them active daily. The program allows students to partake in arts and crafts, keep their brains working with a variety of STEM activities, play with a collection of board games and provides a quieter space to work on homework or read a book during “Rec Rotations.” Each school site is supervised by Recreation Staff with leadership training and certification in First Aid and CPR. After-school Recreation runs from school dismissal until 5:45 PM, including minimum days. Please note: After-school Recreation does not operate on school holidays or any other non-school day.
2024-25 School Year:
- Session 1 - August 13, 2024 - November 1, 2024
- Session 2 - November 4, 2024 - February 21, 2025
- Session 3 - February 24, 2025 - June 4, 2025
The After-school Leadership, Experience, and Development (LEAD) program is an after-school program, located at nearby elementary schools, designed for middle school students to receive training in recreation-related skills.
