The 2024 Picnic Flix movie series returns this summer with a fun mix of movies for the whole family! Movies will begin at dusk, around 8:30 p.m., but plan to arrive early for snacks, games, and other activities. Be sure to bring blankets or low-back chairs for watching the movies in comfort, and pack a jacket, in case of chilly weather, as well as a flashlight to find your way back to the car after the movie. The movies will be shown at three different parks this year, so be sure to double-check the location of each movie:
- June 21 - "Shrek 2" (PG) - Stager Field (6901 York Dr.)
- June 28 - "Sing 2" (PG) - Fallon Sports Park (4605 Lockhart St.)
- July 12 - "Strange World" (PG) - Emerald Glen Park (4201 Central Pkwy.)
- July 19 - "Elemental" (PG) - Stager Field (6901 York Dr.)
- July 26 - "The Super Mario Bros." (PG) - Fallon Sports Park (4605 Lockhart St.)
- August 2 - "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (PG) - Emerald Glen Park (4201 Central Pkwy.)
Please note: There will be no Picnic Flix movie held on Friday, July 5.
