President Biden has declared Wednesday, May 15, as Peace Officers Memorial Day, and May 12 - 18, as National Police Week. All flags will fly at half-staff on Wednesday in memory of the 136 law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in 2023.
Fallen Dublin Police Deputy Aubrey Phillips will be recognized during National Police Week at the 36th Candlelight Vigil to be held on Monday, May 13, in Washington, D.C. Deputy Phillips' family, along with several members of Dublin Police Services, will be in attendance.
