The Business Watch program is a collaborative initiative between Dublin Police Services and local business owners, designed to enhance the safety and security of our community. By working together, we aim to create a safer business environment, reduce crime, and foster a strong partnership between law enforcement, the business community, and all patrons visiting Dublin businesses.
How Does it Work?
Partnership: Business Watch is built on strong partnerships between the police and local businesses. Through regular communication, businesses and police can quickly share information about potential threats or suspicious activities.
Education & Training: We provide businesses with training on crime prevention techniques, including how to recognize and report suspicious behavior, how to protect their assets, and how to handle emergencies.
Information Sharing: The program facilitates the exchange of vital information regarding crime trends, scams, and other security concerns that could impact your business. This can include alerts regarding recent crimes in the area, or tips on improving your business' security measures.
Community Engagement: Business Watch fosters a sense of community among local businesses. By participating in the program, businesses can build relationships with each other and with law enforcement, creating a united front against crime.
