The Imagine Playground at Dublin Sports Grounds is the first all-abilities playground in the region, built for those with special needs.  Educators and therapists who work with special needs children were consulted in the design process.  In addition to an expansive playground with multiple structures, the playground includes an all-inclusive picnic area and pathways to improve accessibility and connectivity to other park features, including the sports fields and a new restroom facility.

A public art piece, "Conversation," by artist Barbara Grygutis, was also installed near the playground.  The piece is intended to emphasize our uniquely human ability to transcend differences and find common ground through conversation.  The sculpture is illuminated at night.
