Patrol officers are the first responders to calls for police service. These are the officers seen day-to-day patrolling Dublin and responding to your calls for service. Specialized Patrol Units in the City of Dublin include, among others,
K-9 Units and
Bicycle Patrol Units.
Patrol Resources
It is the mission of the Patrol officers to maintain a safe environment in which all citizens can live. The City of Dublin offers a
Ride Along Program for residents who are interested in shadowing a routine patrol. Additionally, a
Vacation Card Program allows residents to arrange for additional patrols while they are out of town.
