Join the City of Dublin on Saturday, September 17, 9:00 a.m. to noon, in helping us clean up the creeks in our backyard! Dublin’s Creek Cleanup Day coincides with International Coastal Cleanup Day and is part of California Coastal Cleanup Day, which is the largest volunteer event in the United States. For safety reasons, children under 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. The City of Dublin requires a waiver from all participants. Please bring a signed waiver with you to the event. All underage children must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. If your older teen (15+) will be dropped off at the event, be sure that the waiver has been signed by a parent or guardian beforehand. For additional information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 925-833-6630.
Friends of the Dublin Library, Inc., invites you to shop for bargain books and audio-visual materials at the September Used Book and Media Sale. Most items are priced at $.50 to $2.00. Funds from the sales go toward purchasing the Library's materials and supporting its programs. Sunday is "Bargain Day," when shoppers can fill a paper bag (provided) with books for only $5.00. Other special-priced items will be half-off. Shoppers must comply with current library health regulations.
Need some help getting your bicycle in shape? Join BikeMobile on Saturday, September 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for a free bicycle tune-up and repairs event.
The mechanic educators can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears, and even replace broken or worn out parts like chains, seats, and tires. The only thing they can’t do is replace missing wheels or gears. While the mechanics work on your bike, they’ll explain how to keep it running well.
Bike or no bike, everyone is welcome to attend to this event to learn about maintenance, safety, and more! This is first-come, first-served event, and space is limited. No registration is required.
Join us at Heritage Park and Museums for fun, family-friendly activities and events. Local history will be discovered through guided activities, adventures, and crafts that spark exploration into the past and present. At this event, participants will enjoy apple-themed crafts, games, and snacks as we celebrate fall's favorite fruit!
