    Come and find some wonderful books and media at great prices at the Friends of the Dublin Library's Semi-Annual Used Book Sale. Saturday, 9:00-11:00 a.m., is for members only. (Memberships will be available to purchase beginning at 8:30 a.m.) The sale will run 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday is also Bag Day, where shoppers can fill a paper bag (provided) for $5.00, and get 50% off selected audio-visual, vintage, and specially-priced items.

    Friendly teen volunteers can assist you with using the library's eBook collections You can get help with downloading eBooks from the library's catalog onto an e-reader, tablet, laptop, etc.; downloading the eBook apps onto a device; setting up your account with any of the library's eBook collections; and accessing eBooks and eAudiobooks once you've checked them out. No registration necessary; please drop in. Individual appointments may be scheduled on selected Tuesdays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Inquire at the Dublin Library for more details.

    During this session, we will discuss how to manage emails in a safe and secure manner using live demonstrations. Join us to learn how to avoid email scams and malicious emails. CyberEd is a club at Dublin High School whose members are interested in promoting computer literacy for everyone.

  1. Parks Air Force Base: 1951-1959

    Parks Air Force Base was a basic training center, overseas replacement depot, and air base defense training area during the Korean War. Learn about the Korean War and how Parks Air Force Base provided basic training and prepared airmen for flight school and service. See on display a recruit's ‘regulation’ bunk complete with footlocker and souvenirs; uniforms including the herringbone jumpsuit worn for work duty; an officer’s desk complete with General MacArthur snow globe and original Parks AFB yearbooks with photos depicting the training and camaraderie Parks AFB personnel; and original construction plans, reports, photographs, and documents for Parks AFB and Hospital.
