    The Concord Mobile Veterans Center (MVC) provides readjustment counseling and information resources to veterans. Outreach specialists offer referral and connection to other VA or community benefits and service, including employment, education, healthcare, and housing. Veteran CAID or Driver’s License Proof of Service Form DD-214 required. Veterans Administration doctors and nurse practitioners provide examinations, consultations, and referrals. The outreach team also helps with eligibility and enrollment for VA care. • Same Day Visit with Doctor or Nurse Practitioner • Health screening, evaluation and treatment of medical issues, education • No appointment needed • Schedule appointments with primary care physicians • Referrals to specialists, mental health, hearing, physical therapy • Set up blood tests, x-rays, prescriptions • Safety Assessment

    FREE book! Just swap us a review or bring a book to swap! How it Works: Our Teen Librarian will bring out several books (new and old titles) and give teens the chance to browse through them for one and take one they’d like to keep for FREE! In exchange, teens will either bring a book to swap or write a review of the book they chose by the end of the month. The more books you bring in to swap or reviews you can write, the more books you can take. For Grades 9-12. No registration necessary – Just drop in! Spots are limited to the first 12.

    Learn easy yoga postures and mindfulness techniques to help you manage stress. No registration required, but a waiver must be signed at the beginning of class in order to participate. To get the most out of the yoga practice, please come with an empty stomach wearing comfortable loose clothing. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one! Beginners welcome. Adults only. Madhavi Nadendla is a certified Ashtanga yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga for over two years. She trained at the reputed Mt. Madonna Center.
