The City of Dublin has plans to turn the lower level of the current Dublin Police Services wing at the Civic Center into a Cultural Arts Center. The proposed Center will feature additional dance, music, art, and theater spaces than those that are already offered by Dublin Parks and Community Services. This is the first of three meetings that the City encourages residents to attend in order to provide feedback on the project. The meeting will include a presentation on design values and programmatic elements. Options could include performance space, gallery space, multi-use classrooms, etc. Feedback will be solicited from the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission and the public. Other meetings will be offered on Saturday, January 25, 2020, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Dublin Library, and on Thursday, February 13, 2020, 7:00 p.m., at the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission meeting in the Dublin City Council Chamber (100 Civic Plaza).
