Due to stricter COVID-19 Testing Guidelines recently set forth by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare will use similar criteria at the Alameda County Fairgrounds COVID-19 testing site beginning Monday, August 3.
Individuals who have COVID-19 symptoms will be tested, as well as asymptomatic individuals who fall into a number of categories. Please visit https://www.valleycare.com/regional-testing-site-for-covid-19/ for criteria details.
Testing will continue to operate from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a maximum testing of 240 individuals each day. If daily capacity is reached prior to 12:00 p.m. each day, signage will be posted at the gate 12 entrance of the fairgrounds. No appointment is needed. Testing is still available to patients with or without a physician order.
