Summary of Actions Taken by Dublin City Council on Tuesday, November 15

At its meeting held on Tuesday, November 15, the Dublin City Council took a number of actions. Below is a summary of actions taken:

    • Recognized the participants of the 2022 Inside Dublin program.
    • Approved the minutes of the November 1, 2022, Regular City Council meeting.
    • Approved contract payments to World Cup Soccer Camps & Clinics.
    • Authorized the purchase of two replacement marked vehicles from Dublin Chevrolet for Dublin Police Services.
    • Authorized remote meetings of City Council and City Commissions due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.
    • Accepted the improvements at the Dublin Heritage Park Cemetery, which included the courtyard, pathways, landscape, irrigation, parking lot, street frontage, lighting, memorial program elements, site furniture, and upgraded IT infrastructure. 
    • Amended the rules for the selection of the Vice Mayor, reflecting a change to using Rosenberg’s Rules of Order.   
    • Approved the 2023-2031 Housing Element and related amendments to implement the plan including amendments to the General Plan, Eastern Dublin Specific Plan, Downtown Dublin Specific Plan, and amendments to the Planned Development Zoning for sites D-2 and E-2 at the Dublin Transit Center and Hacienda Crossings shopping center.
    • Certified the environmental impact report and approved amendments to the General Plan and Eastern Dublin Specific Plan for the SCS Dublin project.
    • Adopted an Ordinance repealing the 2019 California Building Standards Code and adopting the 2022 California Building Code, which will go into effect on January 1, 2023.
