Military Banners to Honor Local Veterans and Active Duty Military Now on Display

The City of Dublin's Military Banner Program honors local veterans and active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Twelve local heroes are honored this year. Banners will be on display now through Veterans Day 2021.

The banners, sponsored by community members, are located along Dougherty Road between Scarlett Drive and Amador Valley Boulevard. Special thanks to the individual sponsors who are honoring a family member, as well as the Dublin Historical Society and the Association of the United States Army, MG William F. Dean Chapter for their sponsorship this year.

Residents and visitors can download the Walking Tour Map or pick up a copy inside the Dublin Camp Parks Military History Center and then enjoy a one-mile walk to view the banners.

The Dublin Camp Parks Military History Center is located at the Camp Parks Visitor Center, just outside the military base's Main Gate on Dougherty Road. The History Center is open daily, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and admission is free.
