Tuesday, August 13, marks the start of the new school year for Dublin's public schools. Dublin Police Services would like to remind students, parents, and residents to use extra caution when traveling during school drop-off and pick-up times.
Dublin Police Services will be providing traffic education and enforcement around all Dublin schools during the first week of school. Please be reminded that the posted speed limit around schools when children are present is 25 mph, and texting while driving is strictly prohibited. Pedestrians crossing the street--both in crosswalks and intersections--have the right-of-way, and drivers must yield to them at all times.
