Debate Like a Philosopher

Can AI be discriminatory? Should babies be genetically modified? Taught by a DHS sophomore and Las Positas Philosophy Honors member, along with a Philosophy major and entrepreneur, the Debate Like a Philosopher program will encourage your child to develop their personal ethical beliefs. The program also teaches speaking and reasoning skills necessary for participation in speech and debate/ethics bowl competitions.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least three business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
