Women and Art History: An Author Talk with Bridget Quinn
Thursday, March 7, 2019
It's Women's History Month and we're celebrating with an author talk! Join us as author and art historian Bridget Quinn delves into the lives and careers of brilliant female artists from 1600 to the present. Drawing from her book, "Broad Strokes: 15 Women who Made Art and Made History (In That Order)," local author Bridget Quinn will present an art-filled slideshow and talk. This is art history for the modern art lover, reader, and feminist. Bridget Quinn is a writer, art history scholar, and educator. She’s worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and taught art history and architecture at Portland State University and the San Francisco Waldorf High School. First Thursdays are free programs for adults held every first Thursday of the month at the Dublin Library.
