Creek Cleanup Day

Join us for Creek Cleanup Day!
Saturday, September 21, 2019 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Register today to help clean up creeks in the City of Dublin.  Zone 7 and the City of Dublin require a waiver from all participants. Please bring a signed waiver with you to the Cleanup. Extra blank waivers will be on hand the day of the event.

Creek embankments can be steep and slippery. For safety reasons, children under 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Here are some tips to help make Creek Cleanup Day a success:

  • Bring a copy of your signed volunteer waiver: http://dublin.ca.gov/documentcenter/view/11967
  • Bring a reusable water bottle. Filtered water will be provided for refilling bottles.
  • Wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and a hat.
  • Bring your own work gloves, however latex gloves will be available for all volunteers.
  • Don’t forget sunscreen!

A light breakfast and pizza lunch will be provided for all volunteers at Emerald Glen Park. Please note all volunteers are required to check in at Emerald Glen Park.  Depending on the creek you register to clean, you may need transportation to your creek after you check in.

Dublin’s Creek Cleanup Day is part of California Coastal Cleanup Day which is the largest volunteer event in the U.S.  We hope you will join September 21, 2019, 9:00 a.m. - noon.

Please reach out to Environmental Services if you have specific questions or concerns at es@dublin.ca.gov or 925-833-6600.
