Coastal Cleanup 2020

Help Clean Up Your Neighborhoods During the Dublin Cleanup 2020 Campaign

Due to the current Health Orders associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Creek Cleanup Day, which normally occurs in September, has been cancelled this year.  However, in its place, the City of Dublin will be celebrating Coastal Cleanup Day by urging Dublin residents to wear gloves, carry a trash bag, and pick up litter as you go on your neighborhood walks.  You can even plan to visit local parks with your family and clean up any waste that has not been put in trash receptacles.

While the annual Creek Cleanup Day was a one-day event, the Dublin Cleanup 2020 will occur during the entire month of September.  Report your cleanup by recording data on the CleanSwell app.  Alternately, you can complete this California Coastal Commission form which also allows you to enter the Most Unusual Item Contest.  If you enter the contest, you may win a prize package from the California Coastal Commission!
