Junior Warriors Basketball League 

The Junior Warriors Winter League is back! This is the City's most popular youth basketball program and is open to players in kindergarten through eighth grade. Players learn how to play basketball in a fun and encouraging setting, and will receive a reversible Warriors basketball jersey, and an award at the end of the season.

Non- Resident: Tuesday, August 23, 2022


League Registration Fees:

Player Skill Assessment: Tuesday, November 8, 2022- Wednesday, November 9, 2022 (Only for new participants second grade through eighth grade)

Practice Begins: Monday, December 12, 2022

Tip-Off/Season Opener: Saturday, January 14, 2023

 Picture Day: Saturday, February 25, 2023 

 Regular Season Finale: Saturday, March 4, 2023

 Playoffs: Saturday, March 11, 2023

Coach Information: 

Coaches Meeting: Check back for information on the 2022-2023 season.
All volunteer head coaches must attend one of two coaches' meeting dates. Any volunteer unable to make it to a coaches meeting will not be eligible to be a head coach.

Volunteer Coaches Needed!
Interested in coaching in our Jr. Warriors Basketball League? Dublin recreation is looking for volunteers to dedicate their time to help coach and teach the fundamental skills of basketball, as well as important traits such as teamwork, responsibility, good sportsmanship, and hard work. If interested, please come into the Shannon Community Center, or call (925) 833-6645, or email Jr.Warriors@dublin.ca.gov. All volunteer coaches must complete a volunteer application, be fingerprinted, and attend a mandatory coaches meeting prior to the start of the season.
