Junior Warriors Basketball League

The Junior Warriors Youth Basketball League will be back for the 2025-2026 Fall/Winter season! In this recreational basketball league, participants will learn the fundamentals of the sport, while having fun and engaging with friends! Practices will take place once a week (Monday - Friday, dependent on assigned coach or staff member), and games will take place on Saturdays! In an effort to create a more inclusive and balanced league, there will be no buddy requests this season. Teams will be assigned based on skill level. 

The primary method of communication for our Junior Warriors League is through email. Please verify that the email address associated with your participant's account is accurate during the registration process for our leagues. Furthermore, the majority of emails containing league information will be sent from our Jr.Warriors@dublin.ca.gov account. We recommend checking your spam and junk folders to confirm that you have not missed any communication. Additionally, please ensure that your email settings do not prevent messages from being received from Jr.Warriors@dublin.ca.gov.

2025-2026 Season Timeline: 

Registration: August 12th, 2025

League Registration Fees: $191 for residents, $229 for non-residents

Registration Closes: November 7th, 2025

The amount of teams is determined by the number of volunteer coaches, as well as facility limitations. If the leagues is full, it is encouraged to sign up for the waiting list. If spots and coaches become available, the waiting list will be notified.                                                                                                                      
The last day to withdraw from the 2025-2026 league is December 4th, 2025. If you wish to pursue a refund or withdrawal, please reach out via email to Jr.Warriors@dublin.ca.gov.

Player Skill Evaluation: Saturday, November 15th, 2025, and makeups are Saturday, December 6th, 2025. Skill evaluation groups will be broken up based on league grade. Specific information will be sent to all league participants via email Monday November 10th, after registration has closed.                                                                                                  

Practice/ Coaches Meet and Greet Begins: Week of December 15th, 2025                                                                                                            

Tip-Off/Season Opener: Saturday, January 17th, 2026                                                                                         

Picture Day: Saturday, January 10th, 2026

Coach Information: 

Coaches Meeting: Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at 9:00am or Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, at 12:00pm. All volunteer head coaches must attend one of the two coaches' meeting dates; any volunteer unable to attend a coaches meeting will not be eligible to be a head coach.

Interested in coaching in our Jr. Warriors Basketball League? Dublin Recreation is looking for volunteers to dedicate their time to help coach and teach the fundamental skills of basketball, as well as important traits such as teamwork, responsibility, good sportsmanship, and hard work. All volunteer coaches must complete a volunteer application, be fingerprinted, and attend mandatory coaches meetings before the start of the season.
