Junior Warriors Basketball League
The Junior Warriors Winter League is back! This is the City's most popular youth basketball program and is open to players in kindergarten through eighth grade. Players learn how to play basketball in a fun and encouraging setting, and will receive a reversible Warriors basketball jersey, and an award at the end of the season.

Residents: Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Non-Residents: Tuesday, August 22, 2023
League Registration Fees:
$191 Resident Fee, $229 Non-Resident Fee
Late Registration Fees:
$26 Late Registration Fee after October 21, 2023
Registration Deadline: Friday, October 20, 2023
Waitlist: The amount of teams are determined by the number of volunteer coaches, as well as facility limitations. If the league is full, it is encouraged to sign up for the waiting list. If spots and coaches become available, the waiting list will be notified.

Player Skill Assessment: The 2023-2024 Junior Warriors Youth Basketball League will be holding two skill assessment days only for registered participants on November 11, 2023, and November 18, 2023. Official skill assessment day schedules have been sent to all registered players via email.
Practice Begins: Week of December 4, 2023
Tip-Off/Season Opener: Saturday, January 13, 2024
Picture Day: Saturday, January 13, 2024
Regular Season Finale: Saturday, March 2, 2024, for Kindergarten-2nd Grade and for 3rd through 8th Grade teams who don't qualify for playoffs.
Playoffs: Saturday, March 9, 2024 (for the top four teams in the Boys and Girls 3rd Grade league and up)

All volunteer head coaches must attend one of two coaches' meeting dates. Any volunteer unable to make it to a coach's meeting will not be eligible to be a head coach.
Volunteer Coaches Needed!
Interested in coaching in our Jr. Warriors Basketball League? Dublin Recreation is looking for volunteers to dedicate their time to help coach and teach the fundamental skills of basketball, as well as important traits such as teamwork, responsibility, good sportsmanship, and hard work. If interested, please come into the Shannon Community Center, or call (925) 556-4531, or email Jr.Warriors@dublin.ca.gov. All volunteer coaches must complete a volunteer application, be fingerprinted, and attend mandatory coaches meetings prior to the start of the season.
