The Youth Advisory Committee is accepting applications and proposals for the annual Youth Mini Grant program; deadline to apply is Friday, October 1 at 5:00 p.m. Applications are available online by clicking here. The Youth Mini Grant provides grant money to Dublin middle and high school organizations/clubs that offer performing arts, sports, multicultural awareness, health awareness or other youth activities that support projects or programs serving or benefiting Dublin youth.
To qualify, the organization/club must be based in Dublin, have an adult sponsor and include at least 75% Dublin residents who are of middle school or high school age. The organization/club must submit an application and proposal that describes the organization, how the funds will benefit Dublin youth, and what the funds will be used for. Should a grant have been awarded in the past to the same organization, a brief review of how the money was spent and how it benefited the group needs to be highlighted in this year's presentation.
Deadline to apply is Friday, October 1 at 5:00 p.m. Applications can be completed and submitted online, emailed to Liz.Elliott@dublin.ca.gov or submitted in-person at the Shannon Community Center, Attn: Liz Elliott, 11600 Shannon Avenue, Dublin, CA 94568. Selected applicants will be notified on Friday, October 29 to present their proposal at the Youth Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday, November 17 at the Dublin Senior Center at 7:00 p.m. A youth member or members, along with the adult sponsor of the organization or club, must conduct the presentation.
