A concept design for the future 8.85-acre park adjacent to the Wallis Ranch Community has been selected based on input from residents collected through an online survey, which garnered nearly 1,100 responses, along with community meetings held in March and April. That feedback was used to incorporate additional facilities, which assisted in the preparation of three conceptual design alternatives developed by Callendar Associates. The recreational facility will span three parcels of land along Rutherford Drive, bisected by Tassajara Creek.
On June 5, the City held an in-person community meeting at the future park location, where residents reviewed and provided input on the three proposed concepts.
