City of Dublin Moving Forward with Citywide Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Improvement Projects
On July 20, 2021, City Council approved a turnkey contract with Willdan to deliver citywide projects that will result in more than $28,000,000 in utility savings over the next 25 years.
Over the next 18 to 24 months, the City will be implementing these improvements that align with the Climate Action Plan 2030 and Beyond and help the City become more resilient during planned and unplanned power outages.
The Citywide Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Projects include items related to EV chargers, microgrids, traffic resiliency, and other improvements. Keep track of the construction status as projects progress.
The City of Dublin is Developing an Electric Vehicle Charging Station Infrastructure Plan
As part of Dublin's Climate Action Plan 2030 and Beyond, the City is developing an electric vehicle (EV) charging station infrastructure plan to support EV adoption. The goal is to determine how Dublin will help facilitate the transition to EVs by ensuring adequate and appropriate EV charging stations are installed in Dublin to meet State and local EV ownership goals.
Take our survey to provide feedback and help Dublin prioritize potential sites for EV chargers. All respondents who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle for the opportunity to win $25 in Dublin CityDollars for use in the Dublin Marketplace.
