The Dublin City Council created the Commercial Development Task Force to
provide community input regarding future commercial development with a
focus on key opportunity sites within the community. Twelve residents
were appointed by City Council to serve on the Commercial Development
Task Force, and the consultant MIG was hired to facilitate Task Force
The Task Force met five times between April and July of 2014 with City Staff and MIG to discuss local development activity, regional economics, and community design. All Task Force meetings were open to the public. The Task Force meetings resulted in a report with a series of recommendations. The Task Force Summary and Recommendations Report was presented to the Dublin City Council at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2014.
