ST PATRICK'S DAY FESTIVAL


The festival takes place at the Dublin Civic Center located at 100 Civic Plaza in Dublin.

Directions to the Festival


From East or Westbound 580
Exit at Hopyard Road/Dougherty Road and go North onto Dougherty Road.  At Dublin Boulevard go left (West) and drive approximately ½ mile.  The festival is on the left at Civic Plaza.

From North or Southbound 680

Take 580 East.  Exit at Hopyard Road/Dougherty Road and go North onto Dougherty Road.  At Dublin Boulevard go left (West) and drive approximately ½ mile.
The festival is on the left at Civic Plaza.

Festival Parking


Free Festival parking is available on Sierra Court and on Clark Avenue. Please use only the marked Festival Parking lots or use available street parking.

Fire Station #16 is located on the corner of Amador Valley Boulevard and Donohue Drive.

Free parking is available along Donohue Drive and in the Target parking lot.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE


The parade begins on Dublin Boulevard at Amador Plaza Road then:
  • Turns left (East) onto Village Parkway
  • Turns left (North) onto Amador Valley Boulevard
  • Ends at Donohue Drive

Parade Parking


Free parking is available along the parade route as well as adjacent parking lots. Please obey all posted parking regulations and be courteous of our business and residential neighbors. Free parking is also available at the West Dublin BART Station.  NOTE: The parade route is just a short walk from the West Dublin BART station.

SHAMROCK 5K FUN RUN & WALK


The race begins on Dublin Boulevard across from the Dublin Civic Center at 100 Civic Plaza.

Free parking is available on Sierra Court or Sierra Lane on the right off of Dublin Boulevard.

From North or Southbound 680
Take 580 West.  Exit at San Ramon Road and go right (North) onto San Ramon Road.  At Dublin Boulevard go right (East) and drive approximately 2 miles.
The race begins on Dublin Boulevard across from the Dublin Civic Center.  Race Registration is at California Custom Carpets at 6815 Dublin Boulevard.
Free parking is available on Clark Avenue on the right off of Dublin Boulevard.

Race Parking

is available along Sierra Court, Sierra Lane, and Clark Avenue. Use only the marked Festival Parking lots or use available street parking.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING


Accessible parking for those with disabilities are available in the Sports Grounds parking lot on Dublin Boulevard for both the Shamrock 5K Race and for the Festival.  Access is available ONLY from the east bound lane on Dublin Boulevard. The entrance is just past Civic Plaza.  Handicapped placards must be visible to enter the lot.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SHUTTLE


A FREE Wheelchair Accessible Shuttle Service will also run continuously during the event between the Carl Zeiss Meditec Offices at  5160 Hacienda Drive and the Festival at 100 Civic Plaza on Saturday from 8:30am to 7:30pm  and on Sunday from 7:30am to 5:30pm.  Riders will be dropped at the front of the festival at the corner of Civic Plaza and Dublin Boulevard.

Ride BART to the Festival and Parade


The St. Patrick's Day Festival and the Parade are "BART-able".  Just take BART and your bus ride to the Festival is free from either the East or West Dublin BART Stations on the Wheels Rapid 30R Bus which will take you directly to the festival entry at Civic Plaza. (No passes required - Just tell the driver you are headed to the festival for your free ride!)  Valid only on the Festival weekend.
If you are headed to the Parade, exit at the West Dublin BART Station and the parade is just about 2 blocks away!

Free Parking at BART


Parking is free at BART stations throughout the Bay Area during the weekends. At either the East or West Dublin BART Stations, take the Wheels Rapid 30R Bus for free which will take you to the festival entry at Dublin Boulevard and Civic Plaza.
(No passes required - Just tell the driver you are headed to the festival for your free ride!)  Valid only on March 17 - 18, 2018.

FREE FESTIVAL SHUTTLE 


Park at the Carl Zeiss Meditec Offices located at 5160 Hacienda Drive and catch a free shuttle to the event!  (See map at top of page).  The free Shuttle Bus which is wheelchair accessible will operate continuously to and from the festival approximately every 20 minutes on Saturday and Sunday:

RIDE YOUR BIKE TO THE FESTIVAL


Ride your bike to the Festival and park in either of the FREE supervised "Bike Valets" when you arrive:
  1. You will find a Bike Valet near the main entrance to the festival on the left as you head towards the Carnival at the Dublin Sports Grounds.
  2. Another bike valet is at the festival entrance near the Alamo Canal Trail and is located behind the Dublin Library.
Bicycles can be checked-in for safe-keeping while you enjoy the festival! Bike Valet hours: Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
