Spring Fair On the Farm
Spring Fair on the Farm
Dublin Heritage Park and Museums
6600 Donlon Way
Saturday, May 5, 2018
12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate springtime on the dairy farm with farm activities, live music, and farm-fresh foods straight from the garden. Farm vendors sell unique products and demonstrate sustainable practices. Learn spring gardening tips while working in the garden with small tools, visit our farm fresh vendors, and take tractor-drawn wagon rides. Children can learn the process of making milk, butter, ice cream, and cheese through hands-on activities and demonstrations in the dairy pen. Visit the dairy exhibit in the historic Murray Schoolhouse and tour the home of Dublin’s farm family, the Kolbs, to see what their kitchen and pantry would look like in the spring of 1949. Enjoy light music and a cup-o-tea in our Spring Tea Cottage inside the Sunday School Barn. Tea is $2 per person.
